BIOGRAPHY:
Erin was born in the City of Newport in South Wales, December of 1977. There, she was raised by her Belfast-born parents
along with with older siblings, Tony and Cathy. From as young as fourteen, Erin has been penning her own songs and for the
following eight years, had fronted various bands (including one with sister, Cathy) performing live.
In 1999, Erin married Paul, who has been a huge inspiration and pillar of support. They are now proud parents of two children,
Daniel and Sophie. The singing and song-writing was put on hold whilst Erin devoted her time to raising her new family. She
began writing again more frequently in 2004.
Erin joined www.taxi.com - The World's Leading on-line A&R Company - in December 2004, and has received detailed critiques
all of which have been most positive and helpful. 'Out of my Reach' made the UK Top 10 on www.broadjam.com on 3 separate
occasions in February 2005. 'Mamma's Boy' made Pop Top 10, Female Vocals Top 10, Europe Top 10, Production - Mid Tempo Top
10, United Kingdom Top 10 in March 2005. In May 2005 "You ain't laughing anymore" achieved the same results. For
the short while Erin had a music page on www.soundclick.com, she received over 32,000 song plays and held eight no.1 chart
positions (see music page).
Erin, a devout Catholic, writes songs in the style of Country Pop, Jazz, Blues, Pop and Power Ballads. Erin composes her
songs using her keyboard and more recently, her home recording equipment. All songs (except "You ain't laughing anymore"
and "Our little drummer girl, Vicky") were mixed in local studios. Erin arranges all her own music and performs
all vocals for her song-writing demos.
With years of support and encouragement from her family, Erin is now able to mix and record her songs herself using home
recording equipment which was funded by her brother, Tony.
In April 2005, Zero One Management became aware of Erin through word of mouth. They passed Erin's CD to Blue Zoo Records
who immediately offered her a publishing deal. A young gifted singer with a bright future, Beth Williams, is now recording
'Out of my Reach' and 'Being here with you'. 'Mamma's Boy' and 'Talk 2 me' is, at present, being recorded by a versatile female
group of 3 sisters named Di Salvo. Erin continues to write for both projects and others. Her songs are also being reviewed
for Canadian/US artists.
Songwriters that Erin admires include: Sheryl Crow - Dido - Elton John - The Eagles - Shania Twain - Diane Warren - Carole
King - James Horner and Craig David, just to name a few. She also believes Celine Dion's voice to be one of the best she has
heard.
